Many of his skills set Shields so he won't be worrying about lacking one. His heals may not be massive, 25% and 40%, but he's also setting up Shields on him and his Allies that are around 30%, 40%, and even 50%. And his skillkit of course needs a mention as he's a Tank that can actually heal and setup Shielding for some seriously nice sustainment. Kiridar's Horn to quickly wipe away negative effects on him and his Allies, Aura's Cape for the Immune to Torture it can provide, Tyrant's Ideas to be able to slap some scary Random Negatives on his enemies, there's so many good ones out there right now that a Tank like Ted can utilize. Then Ted is a Galactic which, at face value, should give people the idea of what awesome Talents he can abuse. That allows him to be able to successfully out live them and, despite them being able to ignore his Taunts because of Pierce, he can still wall the Piercer's allies nicely. His elements, obviously as stated before, are Light/Fire, but this is great considering he automatically resists 2 of the strongest Pierce Attackers in the game, Cherub Cupid and Serpentex. He's pretty much exactly what you expect from a Taunt trait + SC Mega Taunt type of Tank, but its the combinations of his elements, Talent access, and skill kit that all truly help him shine. Grateful Ted is a wonderful, graceful return to form for Tales monsters as he is quite the solid Light and Fire element Tank.
